The
Parish of Sidlow Bridge, Reigate, Surrey
Services use traditional Anglican Liturgy with seasonal Sung Eucharist settings from "Common Worship" and monthly Sung Mattins and Evensong using the Book of Common Prayer. There is a regular Sunday School (at 11.00am during school term time) and a Choir with a strong four part choral tradition. The church has a first floor meeting room
with kitchen facilities and a ground floor accessible toilet. A car park is available adjacent to the
church. Sunday Services normally include Sung
Eucharist on the first, third and fourth Sundays of the month; Sung Mattins
on the second and (when they occur) the fifth Sundays; Sung Evensong on the
first Sundays. Please
check here for details of forthcoming services Activities Emmanuel hosts a number of activities throughout the year. Some of these are summarised below but please check here for forthcoming events Adult Study Groups - Various groups meet at different times during the year for learning about our faith, for fellowship and for prayer Choir - For adults and children (boys and girls). Practices on Sunday mornings. The choir has a regular membership of a dozen choristers with a strong tradition of 4-part harmony singing. They cover a variety of music, preparing an anthem for most Sundays. Special choral services are sung at most of the major festivals. New members are always welcome. Social Events - ‘Coffee and Chat’ most Wednesday mornings. Other
events regularly throughout the year. See “Calendar of Events” Venture Week - An annual week of activities, held during the first week of August, for children up to 14 years. Parish News As well as a weekly news sheet we publish ‘Parish News’, a monthly magazine which may be obtained from the church or delivered to most houses in the parish. This contains details of all church activities. Articles for the Parish News may be sent via email to The Editors or left in the box in the church porch. See “Events” for next copy date.
